How to wear shirt dresses

SHIRT DRESSES are the absolute perfect picks for the hot season, especially the UAE’s extremely hot, humid, steaming, blazing, hell leaking, burning heat…naah this words aren’t enough to describe an average of 41 °C to 56 °C temperature. Despite the lightness of the dress, I was still sweating like a ‘Christmas goat’ as my Nigerian people will say.  [wp-svg-icons icon=”grin” wrap=”i”] [wp-svg-icons icon=”grin-2″ wrap=”i”]
Kudos to all UAE bloggers! They keep it going regardless. Now that’s Passion and Dedication!!!

Shirt dresses  are casual and easy to wear, their versatility makes it easily dressed up or down especially when styled perfectly like I did! Yes Yes I know I styled it perfectly [wp-svg-icons icon=”cool-2″ wrap=”i”] [wp-svg-icons icon=”tongue” wrap=”i”]. Puleasseee give me some credit –  I was kinda worried the outfit would look too reddish but It turned out to be very chic, edgy and sexy – In my head I was on a beautiful island for a holiday of a lifetime only without a man. Hiding behind my sunglasses scouting for topless sexy male species just too feed my eyes and admire God’s beautiful creation and secretly wishing one would say hi… ok I’m reading too many novels!

Pair with heels for a more chic/edgy look and sneakers for a fun/casual look

So I just got back from Nigeria after 3 years of not visiting. It was fun, boring at some point and just there really. Most of my friends work so weekends were the only time we got to hang out.  I got ill for the first few days – i guess change of weather and I didn’t realise I needed to take malaria shots before leaving Dubai.  All in All, I had a good time, my birthday was so much fun – I know i said i’d share more details about the birthday but the pictures didn’t come out as excepted (still pissed about that) but life goes on jare. I really wanted to share pictures from the dinner here.

Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes – Much appreciated!
God Bless you
Love, always.

  1. EeeeWWOOOO, se fine BABE!! Gurl where do I start with you: love the scarf you used to put your hair up ( I always find that gives a look a retro glam edge), then the colour of the dress is red piping hot, the accessories, the turqouise hues of your shoes…you look so confident and its great to see! Sorry to hear you fell ill in Naija, shit happens…it must have been great to go back after 3 years. And 41 degrees that kind of heat makes me soooooo angry but I guess I’d get used to it after a while. Have a good wk ahead and glad to have you back in the blogosphere ( :

  2. After three years?? Child….I have no words. You made me lief at the Nigerian saying about the Christmas goat but you are not going to dies unlike the goat, come on Tega…..despite being cocky you did a phenomenal job on the styling because you rocked this shirt dress to perfection. I love the color and the fact that you tried to keep it red with the bag and the shoes matched the location., slay hunnay!
