Hey guys, welcome to the maiden edition of the ‘how to:’ series. As a fashion blogger, am often assumed then asked (take note: the assumption takes place first) how i manage and afford to own so many clothes. Truth is, i wish i did have a huge closet full of clothes but sadly i don’t [wp-svg-icons icon=”sad” wrap=”i”][wp-svg-icons icon=”sad-2″ wrap=”i”] (I will someday, i will!). Being independent, space constraints and being budget conscious has made me put my creative fashion mind into GREAT use. The trick is to mix-match your clothing pieces differently to make them appear new. With a few trials and
errors outfit gone wrong, you would become a pro in creating multiple outfits from clothes you already have in no time. So stay tuned and watch this space for more tips and tricks on how to restyle your clothes over and over again.
For today’s post i styled this floral print top in 2 ways: both
semi cooperate and casual.
We would all agree that the number one wardrobe staple is a classic 5-pocket jean. It’s possibly one of the only pieces of fashion that unites our individual style as we all own-no matter what our personal style. This outfit could be worn on a day out with the girls, brunch, date, or even a party. The
semi cooperate could be worn to a business meeting, a seminar or an official outing. To make the outfit more corporate, you could switch the look by taking off the belt, tuck in shirt, probably change to a black shoe, a structured handbag or paired with a black blazer for a more classic look. Which ever works for you. But i promise they would all come out chic!
Another thing i like about restyling clothes is how quickly and convenient for you to switch outfits. Say from day to night look. You don’t have to be worried about creating an entirely different outfit or carrying extra luggage. Especially creating a new look, we know the drill yeah! It takes mins/hrs, trying of the different outfits, turning your closet upside down until you find the perfect OOTD. Frustrating right! So why go through all that stress when you could just switch the bottoms (skirt or trouser) like i did within the twinkle of an eye. You don’t necessarily have to switch bags or shoes. You could add extra accessories like the belt in the cooperate outfit or jewelries. And you good to go!
Which of the styles would you rock?

P:S – At this point i felt i was gonna faint.. lmao [wp-svg-icons icon=”grin” wrap=”i”][wp-svg-icons icon=”happy” wrap=”i”].. it wasn’t even funny. It was so
freaking HOT, Lawd! and this was say past 10am, to think we actually left home early thinking the weather would be a bit less hotter (is thas English even correct?). I was dehydrated, there was a vending machine close by. I was excited when i saw it only to discover it wasn’t working after i had put in my coins. lol.. I just told my friend the shoot is over. I cant come and die (Pardon my Nigerian English) because of picture and that’s how the shoot ended. Now that’s my about to faint face!
Moral of the story: If you live in Dubai never ever, i repeat NEVER EVER leave home without a bottle of Ice cold water.
I truly appreciate your stopping by.
