Writing ain’t easy…Writing fashion related post is even more difficult… sometimes you wanna be personal; pour out your heart, rant, and shii, other times you wanna be fashionably professional; say how versatile and chic an outfit is and how you could style it a million different ways. And the times when you hit the writers block; your head is completely blank! arrrgghhh I hate those days and sadly today is one of those days [wp-svg-icons icon=”sad-2″ wrap=”i”] [wp-svg-icons icon=”sad-2″ wrap=”i”].
I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with ideas, things to tell you… but nothing is coming through. I mean I’m wearing a simple blue and white dress and a blue hat on the beach.
So outfit is ruled out!
For the beach, people go to the beach to clear their minds, to relax, smell the ocean (I don’t even know what that means), sun bath, play in the sand and what not. But Lagosians go for the opposite reason. If you’re conversant with Lagos beaches you can relate to this. Personally I go to feed my eyes; it’s literally a movie because some of the things your eyes will see your mouth can’t say [wp-svg-icons icon=”grin-2″ wrap=”i”] [wp-svg-icons icon=”grin-2″ wrap=”i”]. Humans of different forms, shapes, character and sizes. Regardless, Lagos beach is funnnnnn!!!! the music, the people…crazy, strange and weird looking people.
Ultimate turn up location!
I stayed in Mauritius for almost a year and I just couldn’t any more. No music, no craziness, everybody calm, sunbathing and swimming. ahn ahh! very boring something. I just said abeg if this is how their beach is I’m not going again. The clear beautiful blue ocean that makes a perfect backdrop for pictures was my only consolation. UAE Beaches are even worse.
I just came here to snap pictures [wp-svg-icons icon=”happy-2″ wrap=”i”] [wp-svg-icons icon=”wink” wrap=”i”].
So after pondering and pondering, happiness hit me!
“Happiness is a choice, not a result.
Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy.
No person will make you happy unless you decide to be happy.
Your happiness will not come to you.
It can only come from you”
