Ladies get ready, this post is for all for you!
I’m back with another valentine post o! 🙈🙈🙈 But this time it’s a ‘Valentine’s Day outfit ideas’. I’m very excited about this post because it’s a collaboration with other bloggers. I contacted them on a very short notice and they came through. You rock ladies! 😘😘😘
Valentine’s Day is a perfect excuse to put on a cute outfit and hit the town. Whether you’re going out on a romantic date or having one too many drinks with close friends, celebrating being single with a night on the town with the girls, or even chilling at home which I will most likely be doing – you can play dress up and perhaps plan your perfect date with you potential bae. Terrible Idea! 😬😬🙈🙈
With Val’s Day around the corner, it’s time to start prepping the ultimate date outfit. Going full-on red is a quintessential Valentine’s Day choice for most women but there’s no rule that says you must wear an all read outfit. You don’t have to go all out – because at the end of the day, as long as your outfit feels ‘you’, that’s all that matters. However, no matter what your V-Day plans are, ensure that you’ll be celebrating in style.
Here are 5 non-clichéd Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas to leave you looking utterly fabulous.
TBH, I’m not very enthusiastic about the V-day so I chose to wear something unconventional but decided to have a little fun with the day’s theme and added a touch of red. This is my perfect Valentine’s Day outfit because it’s effortless and screams sexy-but-not-trying-too-hard. This outfit will be the perfect choice for either a romantic date with your man or a night out with friends.
The predominant colour associated with Valentine’s Day is red because it symbolizes passion, love and desire. If my man asked me out to dinner for Valentine’s Day, this red lace halter neck dress is what I would choose for the night. I know that in this show-stopping color, my man’s eyes would be on me all night, just where I want them to be!
Also on a night like Valentine’s Day, I would want to be feel feminine, powerful and romantic, so the fact this 50s style hourglass number is made out of lace, makes it the garment that keeps on giving. Lace is sexy peekaboo and lace whispers, ‘wait till you get me home to see what’s underneath’. I find this dress very flattering for curvy women like me who have more thighs than a bucket of KFC because the fitted waist and retro flare of the skirt accentuates the best parts of my body whilst softly skimming past my imperfections.
For a dinner situation, to continue the black and red theme of my outfit, I would pair this red lace dress with a fitted black blazer as I’d want to keep the sexy back details a surprise till my man and I were in private. 😊😉🙂

I think it’s perfect for Val’s day because it is a lovely orange red shade. It’s really versatile too as it can be worn casually with sandals or dressed up with a nice pair of killer heels.
One thing for sure is on Val’s day is that you want to look hot! And that was my memo to myself. Hence the reason for my outfit choice. I feel it’s the perfect valentine outfit choice because, it’s hot! Sexy! And sophisticated. You also can hardly tell you are dressed for valentine even though the touch of red might just give you away 😂😂 (but its okay, what’s valentine anyways without red 😉).
So, whether you heading out on a romantic date with your spouse or catching a movie with friends. This look guarantees you a most fashionable day. 😉
