You’re what you speak

You are what you speak!  Are your words often negative? Do you doubt your abilities or believe so little about yourself? And do you speak positively about yourself to others? The moment you start thinking and speaking positive about yourself even though its more difficult than it sounds you realize that your perspective changes. You stop been critical about situations you find yourself, you pay attention to the words you use whenever possible and replace them with more positive descriptions. For example, words like, “I am made for greatness”, “Something good is going to happen in my life” “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” or switching your words from “I can’t” to “I can and I would” even when you have doubts in your heart, say it anyway. The power  to change our mind and our attitude to shape our future is in our words. I can’t” is a destiny killer! you should avoid it like a plague. So remain positive minded and make “I can” your watchword. Compliment yourself and express confidence in the fact that “you can do this.” Most importantly,  believe and love yourself unconditionally because if you don’t believe in yourself nobody would. Always look pass your current situation because you never know what tomorrow holds.

Keep pressing. Keep believing. You were not made to be average; You were made to excel. You were made to leave a mark on this generation.

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways”.

Job 22 : 28

I hope you’re encouraged to speak positive words from hence forth.

    Hi Tenga,

I have a post very similar to this on my blog and I really feel that not enough people practice this type of attitude and it’s so sad, ’cause it holds so much power and truly does bring about so much change! I’m actually planning on doing another post about the words we speak, I don’t think you can ever mention it too many times. People need to hear it and be encouraged. Such an awesome post, glad I came across your blog. 🙂
